Brown Family Reunion 2016!

Another fun part of Summer is when Nate and Alissa and their family come to visit. We have a whole week packed full of family fun. Sometimes craziness. But mostly fun. We had a fun BBQ at Andy's parents' house Wednesday night. Bennett is a crawling maniac! I feel like we are just alternating chasing him all over the yard. But it was fun to be with everyone.

Thursday night was a little more low key. We had Nate, Alissa and the kids over to our house for some pasta, berry crumble and games. It was a lot of fun to visit with them. We wish they lived here!

The next morning, we went for a good power walk around our neighborhood, then packed up the car and headed up to Jake and Beth's cabin for a fun overnight. The cabin is in Fairview, which is so beautiful! We ate some Chick Fila, did some Dance Dance, fished, went for walks, ate more food, and just enjoyed our surroundings. Andy and I managed to take one of the side-by-sides out for a ride. I could spend weeks up there, it is so gorgeous!

 We ended the day all gathering in the family room, and we all talked about our favorite parts of summer and why we are grateful to be Americans. And we played a little zip-bong:)

The following morning, the boys went fishing, and we just chilled out at the cabin for a bit. Alissa and I took some of the kids for a walk, then we got talked into going shooting with Jake and Brig. We shot .22s and 12 gauges. One particular shot gave me one heck of a bruise! It was fun though.

After lunch, we cleaned up and headed back home. Fun overnight!

Sunday, we got to celebrate Grandma Brown's 91st Birthday with all the Browns and the Dyrengs. Another fun evening with everyone!
