We had a great weekend with great friends! Natalie Roe Johnson, one of my good friends from high school, and her hubby David came to visit us!!!!! They are living up in Germany for the next few months and drove on down to spend a few days in Switzerland. We had a great time! We started off their first evening with some fondue, and the next morning headed out to Annecy, France. Andy and I went there for New Years Eve, and it was pretty chilly! It was nice to be there during warm weather! We enjoyed walking along Lake Annecy, walking through the old town, eating the most AMAZING chocolate and lemon tarts (so good we went there twice;), and then just sitting by the lakeside. It was a wonderful day!

After we ate a yummy dinner (made by Dave and Natalie) and our tarts, we ventured out into Geneva. We walked along the lakeside, went to Old Town and the Reformation Wall in the Bastions, and then down to Jet d'Eau. The sky looked amazing! We love our city!

The next morning, we packed up and set off on our road trip. We wanted to show Dave and Nat a little bit more of the Lake Geneva region. Jane Newman had introduced me to this little town up towards the Jura called Bougy-Villars, which boasts the most wonderful chocolate shop--Tristan's. We all sampled chocolate, made our purchases, and then enjoyed the view of the lake. It was a gorgeous day! We all couldn't get enough of it:)
