Elders Stephen and Joshua Pinnock!!!!

What a night. Stephen, my amazing little brother, and Josh, our cousin and his best friend in the world, both submitted their mission papers last week. It's funny, they didn't coordinate when they should submit, it just kinda worked out that way. Being best friends and receiving their calls on the same day, naturally they wanted to open them together. We were all hoping there would be equal excitement for both calls. After a rock paper scissors best out of three, Stephen won and got to open his first. Everyone was in an uproar when he read that he was going to the Italy Milan Mission, departing July 24th. If Stephen had to pick a mission to go to, this was it! But then, we still had to wait for Josh to opened his. Never did any of us expect that they would be laboring in the same mission, leaving on the same day!
This is very exciting news for our family. As cousins, we are all very close and love being together. But Stevo and Josh have shared a special bond that is pretty unique. We lovingly refer to them as Dumb and Dumber, though there is much dispute to this day about who is dumb and who is dumber! They have played on the same teams growing up, they are attached at the hip at every family get together, they double date together, yadda yadda yadda. Most of all, they have made us laugh so hard over the years! I love this duo, especially for being one of my favorite sources of laughter!

And I couldn't be more proud of them for both deciding to serve the Lord and preparing to become his instruments. I love you Stephen and Josh, aka Harry and Lloyd, Spongebob and Patrick, Lego twins, Dumb and Dumber! We are proud of you and excited for you!
