I am doing some major catch-up! Over a year and a half late on these posts! Here we go!
Busy season. This one was a doozy. These next few pics are some fun times before I was sick for a solid month.

Starting New Year's Eve, I got siiiiicccckkk. I don't remember ever being this sick. Cough, sore throat, asthma, flu, bronchitis--you name it! It took going to three different doctors and three different rounds of antibiotics and steroids until I finally started to turn a corner. It was miserable. I was flat in bed for weeks. My visiting teacher and friend Teresa saved our bacon. She came and got the boys first thing in the morning, would bring Jensen back to nurse, pick him up again, bring both boys back to nap, and would come get them again some days. She did this for us almost every day the whole month of January. Talk about an amazing friend. How blessed are we!

We celebrated the end of sickness by getting out of the smog and going up Millcreek canyon with the boys. They had a great time!

Andy had two international work trips for work--one to Tokyo and one to Switzerland. I decided to escape the cold with the boys and head down south to Arizona to spend time with family. Aunt Sharon and Uncle Bob were the perfect hosts! Mommy even got to come join us! And the best of all--Andy got to break his travels in Phoenix! So he got to spend the weekend with us!
We drank a lot of homemade orange juice, played with cousins nonstop, fed ducks at the park, went to Macayo's twice, and the Sugar Bowl! We had dentist appts at Uncle Bill's office, and Mom and I took a drive through her neighborhood where she grew up! It was so fun, the perfect break from the cold!

We spent the rest of the winter trying to fill the time with trips to the aquarium, playdates, Daniel Tiger, the Toy Story trilogy, and any time with Daddy we could get!

We were sad to say goodbye to Bob Pedersen, a dear friend and mentor. Bob and Catherine served in the VC in Oakland right before I went on my mission and got me so excited for my mission call. There are few people on this earth more invigorated about life! He was such a dear man who made everyone in his path feel so appreciated, empowered and loved. We will miss him!
