Girls' Weekend at Snowbird

Yes, despite how much I love spending every day with my little man, teething tantrums and typical 18 month stuff calls for a little break. Destination? Snowbird with my Mamma and sisters, and little Bren! Only because he is still nursing and is about the chillest babe ever. Hallelujah!

We headed up Friday evening, got checked in and had a yummy Mexican dinner at El Chanate at the Cliff Lodge. Their slow braised pork was to die for! We had a lovely dinner, followed by watching Hitch with popcorn and cookies. Perfection!

We took it easy the next day. Little youtube workout, yummy brunch of mom's creamy tomato basil soup and panini, hot tubbing, reading, eating more, and taking naps. Talk about rest and relaxation!

 We ended the evening with a special dinner at the Aerie Restaurant at the Cliff Lodge. Talk about yum! Truffle french fries anyone?!?! Three of us ordered salmon with potatoes and kale, which happened to be the most delicious kale I have ever tasted! (Not a huge fan, so was happy to have a changed opinion:) We just talked and laughed and ate! And of course, topped off with delicious dessert:)

After coming back from the restaurant, we played Heads Up! Super fun taboo type game. More popcorn, more laughing, more bonding. Great night!

The next morning, we packed up and went back to reality, but more refreshed and rested! Great weekend!
