2016 December Happenings in Pictures

Where did the month go! To go easy on myself, I have lumped most of our month in this post. Too many events!

Time with Mammy and cousins. Always a good day! Here is B with little Bren. Sweet!

Playdates. Bennett loves his play time with church friends, Kindermusik friends, and cousins.

Pic taken after a night out at Christkindlemarkt. Fun Christmas tradition, but sooooo cold. We
warmed ourselves up by going to Smashburger with Jess, Jake and their kiddos. After, we lit our
pyramid, turned on some Bing Crosby, and enjoyed our Tree as B tried to pull everything off. :)

Lazy Saturday mornings. Andy has been super super busy this month with work, so we enjoy
any moment we can all just relax in our bed all together. 

Grandma Jennifer unfortunately had to spend a few days in the hospital with some GI inflammation.
But we got to go visit her and had a great time talking with her and Grandpa!

Kindermusik fun! We have loved our Kindermusik class and have met some great friends. This
pic was taken at our little Christmas Kindermusik palooza!

Yummy dinner at Jess and Jake's and then a family outing to the Grand America to see the
Christmas windows. A new tradition that we will keep going!

Ode to French!

Family outing to Pei Wei and Temple Square lights. This pic tells all. B wasn't a fan of the stroller, crowds and the cold.

Need I say more?

We ditched the big crowds and headed over to City Creek to see the fountains show and to get
an Apple Pie Caramel apple, an absolute must every time we go to City Creek!

Despite the crowds, it is beautiful!

How about B's new snow boots! He loves these things! Oh, and a really bad haircut from Mom:/

Other fun highlights from this month......

• Grant Thornton Christmas party at Squatters. Really fun and I got to order carnitas tacos due to the non-GF menu. Yum!
• My bro Hugh came in town from Virginia! We surprised my mom with him at Zupas. Fun!!!
• Brown Family Christmas party at David and Erin Dyreng's with all the Brown cousins and Grandma Brown. Always fun!
• Pinnock Family Christmas party to celebrate Grandma's B-day. The whole gang, complete with jammies, eggs, waffles and tater tots, not to mention a crazy dance and present exchange. Always crazy!
• Christmas shopping. Or, Amazon prime?
• Learning to make chocolate covered popcorn to give to neighbors. Delicious and crazy trying to do it with B.
• Delivering the popcorn. Good until I forgot to put the car in park and it kind of ran into our friend's bushes. Just trying to do a good deed here! Stressful:/
• Teaching for the first time in RS. Scary, but it went okay.
• Cousin Emily Pinnock got home from her mission in Tonga! Great homecoming!
• Got to visit Grandma Marilyn. Love her.
• Lots of lazing around........
