It was nice to spend a few weeks with our families. Since we have been in Switzerland, we have acquired two new nieces and one nephew! It was really fun to see them!
My family picked us up at the airport, where adorable baby Liam was there sitting in his stroller with a welcome home sign! He is soooooooooooooooooooooo cute! I pretty much held him most of the night. It is pretty exciting to finally have a nephew on my side of the family. We all went back to the house, visited for a bit, and then got sushi. So nice to get some sushi and be all together! We didn't last too long that evening--the jet lag set in quick, so we called it a night around 8:30!

Here is the list of our adventures in Utahland
- The following day was a lazy afternoon and dinner with all the Browns. Byron did his wonders on the grill and Andy made homemade ice cream. So much fun to be with the Browns!

Quinn and Davy - Monday was shopping and a BBQ with the Calvert Family, complete with a Todd Calvert jam session at the piano, playing with the new babies, and enjoying a nice, Utah summer night outside.
- Next day was some maintenance on our home in Millcreek, shopping, and Liam's baby blessing at Jess and Jake's loft. Fun to see a lot of the Pinnocks, hear the story of Liam's name, and eating Vern Garrett's famous crepes!
- Wednesday, we hung out with cousins Missy and Stephie in the morning, and then headed down to St. George with Jess, Jake, Liam and Mom and Dad. Road trip! Jake does marketing for Coral Springs Resort in Hurricane, right outside of St. George and arranged for us to all stay in a condo for a few days. Thank you Jake!
- In St. George, the boys golfed 3 times (wow!), us ladies relaxed at the pool, us kids played games in the pool, the ladies did some yoga, we made 2 trips to Orange Peel for smoothies, went to all-you-can-eat sushi, Pizza Factory, played several rounds of Celebrity 3 rounds at night, visited with our friends Brandon and Tiffany, and went to Tuacahn to see Little Mermaid. While at Tuacahn, we were able to meet up with friends Rylee and Blake, who are expecting their first baby! For my family, St. George=Relaxation. It was nice to just relax, talk, play with Baby Liam, and eat some yummy food....all the time! We had such a fun time!

Matching Banana Republic Outfits - After St. George, we went to the Brown's for a BBQ. Have to take advantage of these summer BBQs! After, we came to Adam & Claire's, where we would be staying for the week.

Anna during our intense soccer game! - The next day, Claire and I did some yoga and got lunch at Kneaders. We then all headed up to Tibble Creek Canyon for tin foil dinners, a game of soccer (Browns vs. Pin-Steds), and roasting popcorn and marshmallows. It was fun to be with all of the kids and to enjoy the canyon!

Sammy, Anna, Charlotte, Audrey and Lila - I got to meet up with my friend Rylee Miller for lunch at Zupas, and then met up with Claire, Bethany, and Alissa and their kids at the Lindon pool. So fun! Andy and I did our Walmart run, and we went to Nicolitalia's for pizza.
- The next day, Andy and I got to go to the temple, and then we drove with Jed, Anna and Quinn down to Fairview for an overnighter at brother-in-law Jake's family cabin! At the cabin, we all went fishing, shooting, and fourwheeling It was so beautiful and so nice to be up in Fairview together!

Jed and Quinn - 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We woke up at the cabin, had some breakfast, cleaned up, and Andy and I went on a last fourwheeling run. We then had a competition to see who could make the loop around the cabin on the fourwheeler the fastest. Jake and Andy were tied!
- We then drove up to Salt Lake and had a BBQ with my family and Grandma Pinnock. We had KFC, delicious salad, chips and salsa, watermelon, and Mom's decked out cheesecake! So fun!
- We went to the Sainsbury family BBQ at Andy's aunt Anne's house. Fun to visit with the Sainsburys!
- Pleasant Grove Fireworks!!!!!!!!! Way fun, though we were all in the fallout zone and got showered by some sweet debris!
PG Fireworks! - We got to go to the temple the next morning and do a session with Scott and Audrey Hipps. Scott is one of my converts from my mission, and he and Audrey were married about a month after Andy and me. It was so nice to be with them!
- Claire and I made scones and Navajo tacos for the Browns that evening! All of us adults enjoyed talking all together, and some of us played a game of soccer. Our friends Angie and Michael came over to visit, which was fun. We chatted with Adam and Claire late into the night, which is always a good time:)
- Sunday, we went to Church, and then we had to take Andy to the airport:(( Sad day. Byron and I dropped him off, and then I met up with my family in Salt Lake. We had Sunday dinner, a Swiss Chocolate taste test, and us ladies watched Steel Magnolias. Classic!

Cuddling with Liam - Monday morning, I hung out with Jess and Liam at her loft, got lunch with Mom, and then we went to have dinner with Grandma Pinnock. Fun to visit with her!
Four Generations - Tuesday, our cousins Christina and Jennifer came over! We took the kids on a walk, had lunch at the house, and enjoyed visiting. Later, Mom, Jess, and I saw the movie Belle at the Water Gardens, and went to Tacoeria 27. Great movie and delicious Restaurant! After, Jess and I enjoyed some Downton Abbey:)
- Wednesday, Jess and I threw a clothing Swap with friends! Yay for new free clothes and awesome friends!
Mission Ladies!!! M'Lisa, Me and Angie at Clothing Swap - Thursday, we hung out with Claire and her kids, went to Chili's to celebrate Hughbie's Birthday, and then took the kids to Cold Stone. We then went to the Temple to do some initiatories and got Sushi takeout (last sushi of the trip!)
- Friday, Jess and I hit up Target (blessed Target!), and had some sister time. I got to go with her to look at a house she and Jake were considering. We also got to visit with Grandma Marilyn, which was wonderful. We then had a BBQ with Uncle Bill, Christina, Jennifer and Elizabeth and Grandma Marilyn. And as tradition has it, we played a game of Taboo!
- Saturday, Jess and I took the baby and dogs for a walk, and then we went to the Phillips family reunion! Way fun! I then visited with our dear friends, Lauren and Spencer Barrus, and then said goodbye to the Browns:( Goodbyes are no fun.
- The evening ended with a BBQ with Uncle David, Aunt Annette, Kim, Missy and Steph. Fab Five reunited again!
- Sunday we celebrated Hughbie's birthday with fondue, salad and fruit! Us sisters wrote him a birthday poem and gave him his birthday gift, a chrome Volkswagen badge to put in his car. Hugh lost his VW Passat this past year, so it was only fitting;)
- The night ended with milkshakes with all the Pinnocks. PARTAYYYYY!!!!!
- The next morning, I packed and Jess and I headed down to BYU campus. I got to visit with my professor Fidalis, and Jess and I got to do some BYU reminiscing. love BYU;)
- After saying goodbyes, Daddy and Jess took me to the airport. Sad day!
- Goodbyes are no fun, but it was so nice to be greeted by my amazing hubby at the airport! Fun trip to Utah and fun to be back in Geneva!
