Easter 2020

 Easter was a little different this year, like everything else since COVID started. But we still made it fun! Mammy had the boys come over for a backyard Easter egg hunt, followed by a socially-distanced birthday party for Liam! Later that day, we decorated eggs with the boys

We tried to make Easter Sunday super special. We made Easter Bunny Pancakes for the boys and eggs benedict for us. Super delicious and the boys were excited.

Easter Egg hunt time. Lesson Learned: Start out with the spiritual message,THEN do the easter egg hunt. Let's just say that our boys got so high on chocolatey sugar and had the hardest time coming down from it. Andy and I both had our moments of getting mad. This church at home thing has been rather rough, B and J still don't quite understand it. But after we all calmed down, we sat on the couch and looked out the window at our tulips. Perfect object lesson for the Resurrection. It was really nice.

Easter Baskets!

Andy took a nap while I made an Easter Carrot Cake, I went on a lovely walk, and then Grandma and Grandpa Brown came by to drop off delicious smoked ribs that we enjoyed for dinner. They felt so bad that they couldn't host an Easter egg hunt that they made ribs for everybody. How blessed and lucky are we!

So Grateful that our Savior DID rise on Easter Sunday. What a blessing this truth is for all of us. Happy Easter.
